Prof. Kazama visited Nepal to discuss with counterpart of the SATREPS project

Prof. Futaba Kazama visited Kathmandu in Nepal during 7-9 July, 2013 to discuss implementation plan of the SATREPS project titled "Hydro-microbiological approach for water security in Kathmandu Valley" with the counterpart. During the short visit, she discussed with Prof. Narendra Man Shakya (Project Leader from Nepal side) at Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University on different aspects of the project. Prof. Kazama also met with Chairman and Deputy Project Manager of High Power Committee for Integrated Development of Bagmati Civilization (HPCIDBC), key officials at Asian Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Acting Executive Director of Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board (KVWSMB) and Chief Representative of JICA in Nepal. She also visited Center of Research for Environment Energy and Water (CREEW) and The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) and discussed about the planning and implementation of the project.
